Multiple Intelligences

I have always thought that people possess some intelligences, about three and none of them is related to the other, but when I heard the lecture I was interested to hear more about it and to go more inside this topic.
Now,  I am aware of the nine kinds of intelligences and I would like to focus more on them.
So, as we heard from the lecture, people possess 9 kinds of intelligences and from now on I am aware of the importance of MI in our future as teachers.
Let’s list them as in the lecture:
1-Verbal-Linguistic Intelligences
2- Mathematical- Logical intelligences
3- Musical Intelligence
4- Visual- Spatial Intelligence
5- Bodily- Kinesthetic Intelligence
6- Interpersonal Intelligence
7- Intrapersonal Intelligence
8- Naturalist Intelligence
9- Existential Intelligence
Each of us possesses all of the nine intelligences. Of course, the intelligences function together in ways unique to each person. Most of us fall somewhere in between two poles:
That of being highly developed between in some intelligences, modestly developed in others, and relatively underdeveloped in the rest.
Most people can develop each level of intelligence to an adequate situation of competency and although an individual may complain about hic achievements in a particular area and consider his problems innate and intractable,Howard Gardner suggests that virtually everyone has the capacity to develop all nine intelligences to a reasonably high level of performance if given the appropriate encouragement, enrichment, and instruction.
According to what I read about MI is that they work together in complex ways, they coexist and none of them exists if the other does not.
For example: To cook something for dinner one must read the recipe( linguistic), possibly divide the recipe in half ( logical-mathematical) develop a menu that satisfies all members of a family (interpersonal), and placate one's own appetite as well (intrapersonal).
We as future teachers must be aware of the fact that in the future we will face different kinds of students with multiple intelligences and different ways of organizing them. While some can learn very well in a linguistically-based environment (reading and writing), others are better taught through mathematical-logic based learning. Still others benefit most from body-kinesthetic intelligence (learning by doing with the hands).
Each person possesses each intelligence to an extent, but there is always a primary, or more dominant intelligence.
Below, I have provided you with an online test about your multiple intelligence!
Thank you and I hope you enjoy the

  5. Such a precise information and what everyone should know about the topic.I would have preferred to list some of the methods applied to the class and the benefits related to that methods. However this is what I wanted to be mention and to highlight more .All in all,it is difficult to sum up all the information but you have done it so good.
